The purpose of salvation is not merely for us to exist. NO. God called us to fulfil purpose, influence our generation, and bring glory to His name. Peter declares: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people...” — 1 Peter 2:9 To be chosen by God is to be separated for a divine purpose. We are created for greatness. True greatness is becoming everything God ordained you to become and using your life to fulfil His purpose.  Mediocrity is a corruption of God's original purpose for us and must be rejected. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.    – Mark 4:35 -37   There is something good and beautiful on the other side that made Jesus want his disciple to crossover to “the other side” with him. The devil knew that Jesus had a good plan for his disciples and so he did not want them to get to the other side. So, he caused a great storm to arise.
