He loves it when you weep and sorrow. It gives him great joy to see you in pain and agony. Demons are promoted based on how damage they can do in the life of children of God.  Remember, all he wants to do is to steal, kill and destroy every good thing you have, including your life. God forbid that he succeeds. One season of affliction can pull a man down from grace to grass. That happened to Job (Job 1:13-22).
