  And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey - Exodus  3:17 Beloved, one thing the devil loves doing is to send afflictions to the children of God. He loves it when you weep and sorrow. It gives him great joy to see you in pain and agony. Demons are promoted based on how damage they can do in the life of children of God.  Remember, all he wants to do is to steal, kill and destroy every good thing you have, including your life. God forbid that he succeeds. One season of affliction can pull a man down from grace to grass. That happened to Job (Job 1:13-22).
