Pastor Jerry Eze Honoured with Ph.D from UNN. Says he" thought It Was a Scam.
Pastor Jerry Eze, the visionary behind Streams of Joy International, has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). Over the weekend, during the 53rd convocation of this esteemed institution, Pastor Eze received the honour in Nsukka. During the ceremony, the university also conferred honorary degrees, postgraduate diplomas, higher degrees, and the title of professor emeritus, drawing congratulations for the cleric from admirers.
Pastor Jerry Eze, who leads the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD) online prayer community and Streams of Joy International, admitted that he initially thought it was a scam when the University of Nigeria, Nsukka contacted him about the Doctor of Divinity honour.
On Monday, December 23, Pastor Jerry Eze took to Instagram to share his gratitude and pray for a joyous year-end for his followers. He expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone for their kind words regarding the honor bestowed upon him by the university.
The excited Pastor said he told it was a scam. Hear him;
"Thank You so much Family, for your kind words and Greetings on the conferment of the Doctor of Divinity by the University of Nigeria," he began. "I truly thought I was been scammed when I was first contacted…but serving Jesus isn't a scam! May we all end this year with Mega Congratulations in Jesus' name!"
His wife, Eno Eze, joined him at the UNN convocation event. Pastor Jerry, who holds a bachelor's degree in History and International Relations from Abia State University (ABSU), was awarded a Doctor of Divinity degree. At the same ceremony, Peter Mbah, the governor of Enugu state, received an honorary Doctor of Law degree.
