BIBLE TEXT: Deuteronomy 2:1-3
"Then we turned and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the Lord spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days. And the Lord spake unto me, saying, Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward."
The children of Israel found themselves moving in a cycle, compassing a mountain until God shouted on them, "Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward. I don't know the area of your life where you have been stagnant or moving in a circle without making progress, God will deliver you today in Jesus name.
The word of God to let Israel go was given to Pharaoh in Exodus chapter 4, but he refused. He delayed them until chapter 12 when the yoke of delay was totally broken and they were free forever.
Satanic delay is a dangerous attack. It can put the dream of a man to standstill and his expectation to nothing. It is more better for a person to be moving slowly, than a person experiencing a total delay. Until you destroy the yoke of satanic delay, you are likely to remain in one spot. Some people feel they are making progress, but they are actually delayed in the sight of people. There are different types of delay. We have temporal delay, permanent delay, occasional delay.
Satan does not attack a person who doesn’t have anywhere going in life. But it will surely influence the destiny of a person who is on a serious mission to accomplish greater things. A person is said to be stagnated when he cannot prosper. A person is said to be stagnated when he simply cannot provide for his immediate family.
WHAT IS SATANIC DELAY?
A satanic delay is a state of slowing down. It is a weapon of the enemy used to tie down a person’s glory. A satanic delay is when a person is plagued in one spot aimlessly. It is a situation where a person find it difficult to excel. It means to bind you so that you won’t be able to fulfill your destiny. Satanic delay introduces the spirit of struggle, hardship and sorrow. Delay is an invisible spirit that shatter a man’s dream to pieces. The picture of a delayed man is a serious issue. The arrow of limitation makes a person to wander away from the place of breakthrough. It is possible for a man to be extremely rich and yet he is delayed. The Bible says, many mighty men are falling. What is the cause of it, it is delay. The door of a man can be closed when he is passing through the yoke of foundational delay. It is a dangerous thing for a person to experience one big problem at the edge of breakthrough. The spirit of delay will make a person to work hard, but will remain at the tail region; The person is likely to backslide in the era of disappointments.
TYPES OF DELAY
1. Divine (Delay caused by the Almighty God)
2. Personal (Delay could be caused by your own action, mistake or error).
3. Programmed delay (Delay could be programmed into your life by envious enemy).
4. Inherited delay (When you inherit it from your blood line, parents etc)
5. Environmental delay (When witches in your environment does not allow people to progress)
Many people are seriously finding it hard to rise up again after many seasons of limitation and demotion. In the Bible, God used Moses to take away the children of Isrealites from delay (Exodus 14). When we face times of delay we can become frustrated, discouraged, depressed, angry and even shifting blames. All of this combined can become a breeding ground for the enemy to tempt you to quit and give up.
You must cry out to God for His intervention. There is nobody that loves to be plagued with delay, if they are any then it means such a person is not a normal person.
There is only one good delay and it is divine delay. God sometimes delay a man’s destiny. He delays a man to learn his lesson. He delays a man from marrying a wrong person. He delays answer to prayers. He delays a man’s expectation. For example, when God knows that you are planning to visit your family in the village, just because of unforeseen circumstances coming ahead, he may want to disappoint you with finance or puncture the tyre of your car, or make you to have a verbal confrontation with your wife or husband for your good in order to prevent you from travelling to your village side.. (This doesn’t mean going to village is bad. I just used it here as an example).
Satanic delay can influence a man to be working on a wrong career for years without promotion. For example, the enemy can bless a man with a temporal job, he can give a person good people, an enemy can push a wrong man or woman to you in order to bring everlasting shame and disgrace. It is possible for a person to live in a witchcraft environment where no one makes it. The spirit of delay slows down progress and causes wrong people to attach themselves to you. It causes rejection by those who you should help. When a person is under demonic delay, there will be a multiplied effects of sorrow and afflictions.
And at the same time, when a person is used to delay, he or she will not realize that there is something or somewhere more better than where he or she is. Unfortunately, there are people who inherited this stubborn spirit of delays from their parents or background.
They may not be responsible for being delayed, yet they suffer more than their parents. That’s why it is important to break the yoke now before it breaks you permanent tomorrow. Many people are going through frustration, pain, agony and terrible suffering and yet there are no people to resurrect their hope and aspirations.
There are some people who have the spirit of satanic delay that have been dispatched to their lives to monitor and disgrace them, so that they will not go beyond a place and stage in life. I pray for you, may that not be your portion, in the name of Jesus.
How does satanic delay operates in a person’s life?
To kill steal and destroy. John 10:10. To destroy a man’s hope and expectations. To attack a person through curses and covenant. To keep a person in one spot for too long without being favoured, rewarded, prospered. The enemy arrest a person’s destiny and progress, preventing the person from climbing the ladder of greatness. For example they keep the person from getting married.
When you are delayed, you cannot be at the right place at the right time. The enemy divert your destiny. For example, they make you to marry the wrong person, read the wrong course, or pick the wrong job, expose yourself to wrong people.
Enemies plans are, They want you to die undiscovered, unfulfilled, uncelebrated, and unsung. They do not want you to do what God wants you to do. They do not want you to have what God wants you to have such as a fulfilling marriage and children.
How Do You Escape Satanic Delay?
1. Righteousness.
Joshua led the children of Israel to conquer Jericho, they were to move forward and take Ai but Achan stole an accursed thing. And the whole of Israel was defeated. Sin causes delay and limitation, it’s righteousness that can deliver you out of them all. That delay may not necessarily be because of your household enemies or witches in the village, but a problem between you, (your character) and God. It may be because of that sin you are hiding! It is that hidden sin that is hiding your success. Lose yourself. Come out of it.
2. Divine Intervention
delayed Israel, until God said enough is enough. This will not continue any longer and with his hand he brought them out and took them into their destiny. In Exodus chapter 4, Pharaoh was told “let my people go”, but he refused. He delayed them until chapter 12 when the yoke of delay was totally broken and they were free forever.
ADVICE: Embark on prayers and fasting.
PRAYER POINTS TO DESTROY SATANIC DELAY
Please worship God intense.
Also pray and confess your sins to God.
PRAYER
1. Arrows of satanic delay fired into my star system, come out and die in the name of Jesus.
2. Arrows of backwardness fired into my hands and legs come out and die in the name of Jesus.
3. Chains of stagnation break in my life in the name of Jesus.
4. Delay tactics organized against my joy, scatter in the name of Jesus.
5. Arrows of disappointments come out in my life and die in the name of Jesus.
6. Thou power of hard life come out of my life and die in the name of Jesus.
7. Arrows of shame and difficulty, backfire in the name of JESUS . Every power assigned to make me rise and fall, you are a liar, die in the name of Jesus.
8. Every power of my father’s house that is delaying my progress I command you to die in Jesus name.
9. Satanic decree over my picture, catch fire in the name of Jesus.
10. Every agent of delay assigned against me from the north, east, south, west directions, I command you to die in the name of Jesus Christ. (pray this prayer pointing to the north, south, east and west, then point top the ground and Heavens)
11. Every wall of Jericho blocking my way, scatter by fire in the name of Jesus.
12. I pull down every stronghold of satanic delay, in the name of Jesus.
13. Every strongman assigned against my progress, die, in the name of Jesus.
14. Every evil power draining my virtues, die, in the name of Jesus. Failure and calamity shall not be my identity, in the name of Jesus.
15. Evil rope projecting my life backward, scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.
16. Powers demanding me to release my speed to them, die, in Jesus name. By Your mercy, O Lord, let me accomplish your destiny this year, in Jesus name.
17. Any power from my father and mother’s house holding what belongs to me release it now, in Jesus name.
18. Every covenant of delay upon my life scatter now by fire in Jesus name.
19. Father, deliver my destiny by fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
21. Every power that says I will never get married, be roasted now by fire in Jesus name.
23. Every power that says I will wear a wedding gown with walking stick scatter now by fire in Jesus name.
24. Every power that says I will and not enojy my marriage scatter now by fire in Jesus name.
25. Every power that say I will suffer delays till I enter the grave scatter now by fire in Jesus name.
26. Every power that says I will marry the wrong person, scatter now by fire in Jesus name.
27. Every deceiving marriage prosal or relationship that will waste my time and life i reject you now in Jesus name.
28. My right spouse, I call you forth now in Jesus name. Our getting together shall no more be delayed in Jesus name.
29. My prayers are cover by the Blood of Jesus Christ.
