PACKAGED FOR EXPLOITS

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits - Daniel 11:32  (KJV) From the Bible passage above, it is crystal clear that if there are people who should be doing exploits, they are those that do know their God .   The passage says they that know their God shall be strong and do exploit. It means that the secret to receiving divine strength (physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally) and doing exploit is in knowing God . What does it then mean to know God?

JESUS: THE GREATEST GIFT

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life - John 3:16. Welcome to December, the last month of the year. I am grateful to God Almighty who has graciously sustained us thus far. It is a season of gladness and celebration and I pray that God will give you multiple miracles that will make you dance throughout this month in Jesus name. One characteristic of this season is that it is a time we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and gifts are exchanged between loved ones. Giving to celebrate the birth of Jesus began with God who gave us the best of gifts which is Jesus. God so much loved humanity that He was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for the redemption of man. For that, He gave His only begotten Son to come and die for man.   https://ganxy.com/i/88095/fortune-ihunweze/take-off-your-sandals

WONDERS OF DIVINE BLESSING

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it – Psalm 10:22 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies – Genesis 22:17 Divine blessing is a blessing whose source is from God. Because it does not come from men, it is often not well understood by men. It often comes in mysterious ways through insignificant channels which is often difficult to explain. https://ganxy.com/i/88095/fortune-ihunweze/take-off-your-sandals

WONDERFUL JESUS

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace – Isaiah 9:6. Wonderful is one of the names of our Lord Jesus Christ revealed in Isaiah 9:6, long before He was born. The word translated “wonderful” in that Bible text was taken from the Hebrew word nokrÃŽy, which means strange. In its true sense, Jesus is the strangest thing that ever happened on earth. His conception and birth was so strange that so many still find it difficult to believe his immaculate conception. His decent into the realm of earth brought so much revolution and started the reconciliatory process between estranged man and God. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation – 2 Corinthians 5:18. Wonderful means outstanding, amazing, excellent, fantastic, great, terrific, su

Circumcision Precedes Possession

At that time the LORD said unto Joshua, Make thee sharp knives, and circumcise again the children of Israel the second time. And Joshua made him sharp knives, and circumcised the children of Israel at the hill of the foreskins. And this is the cause why Joshua did circumcise: All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after they came out of Egypt. Now all the people that came out were circumcised: but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came forth out of Egypt, them they had not circumcised - Joshua 5:2-5. To understand why it was necessary that Joshua should circumcise the children of Israel before they cross River Jordan, get into Jericho and then Canaan, we need to understand what circumcision is. Why did God insist that the Israelite will not walk into Canaan, their promise land until they are circumcised? What is Circumcision? Circumcision means the removal of the foreskin

Do Not Conform To The World

https://ganxy.com/i/88095/fortune-ihunweze/take-off-your-sandals Conforming usually seems the right thing to do when one finds himself overwhelmed by the presence, influence and power of others. The tendency is to always blend in when it seems that nobody will listen when you talk. When there are fears that one’s views will be seen as medieval then conforming to prevailing trends appears to be the best way out. But that is not who believers should be. We are not saved to become opinion followers but rather opinion formers especially when opinions in the contrary are out of harmony with the word of God. It should not matter to us whether our standpoint is accepted to the generality of people or not once it is what God demands of us then it should be our stand. Beloved, this unbelieving world can hardly agree with you because you do not belong to the same kingdom. Of course light and darkness are never the best of friends. The kingdom of light which you belong to has principle

To Win God’s Heart: Be Broken

Winning the heart of God is no easy task. Why? Because God is perfect and man for the most part is a bundle of imperfection. Before a man can win God’s heart there must be parity between his life and vision with that of God. He must see and do things the way God wants them done not the way his human thoughts and mind desires. The man must be broken. God finds it very difficult to work with men who are not completely broken. This is so because an unbroken Christian will always want to have his way. He will want to use God to achieve his spiritual and material desires rather than allowing God to use him for heaven’s eternal purpose. An unbroken Christian finds it very difficult to submit totally to God making it almost impossible for God to direct the course of the person’s life. It was difficult for God to work with Moses until after 40years in Midian. All through those years God must have been supervising him constantly measuring his level of brokenness. A broken Christian w

A Man After God's Heart

God stopped Samuel from anointing any of the other seven sons of Jesse who were presented to him before David because He won’t allow anyone take what belongs to a man after His heart. Jesse’s other son’s had kingly looks which made Samuel concluded on sighting Eliab, the first, “surely, this is the lord’s anointed” but heaven said no until David showed up. I could imagine the surprise on Samuel’s face when God told him that David was the “ man after His heart ”, the one He has been talking about. Samuel must have wondered why God will be calling this mere boy a man . One truth you must know is that what makes a man a man is not the size of his physical body but rather the spiritual size of his heart. It is the capacity of your heart that makes you a man or a boy. https://ganxy.com/i/88095/fortune-ihunweze/take-off-your-sandals

THE WONDERS OF JESUS’ NAME

https://ganxy.com/i/88095/fortune-ihunweze/take-off-your-sandals   Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name : That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;   And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father - Philippians 2:9-11   And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins – Matthew 1:21. To many of us Christians, “in Jesus name” has become one of the most familiar and used phrase in the church that many trivialize the amount of power and wonders it can work. The scriptures made us to understand that it is a name that is above every other name at whose mention knees of powers and principalities bow. The name was divinely given (Matthew 1:21) with the power to deliver from every form of bondage, oppression and affliction. There

Becoming An Excellent Christian: 17 Attributes That Ensures Excellent Performance

In the words of a wise man, “we are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.” Building on the above saying, excellence is thus a product of repeated of properly executed action or set of actions. Excellence means standing out in what you do. It does not come by prayer or laying of hands but by working and developing the right set of attitudes. Excellence at anything does not come overnight also but is developed over time through sound and right attitudes. God will only avail you of opportunities to acquire the necessary attributes that equips you for excellent performance but it is in your hands to utilize such opportunities. For a Christian, it takes both spiritual, practical and physical attributes and actions to build one’s excellence potential. I have therefore outlined seventeen (17) needful attributes that will improve your ability to be excellent in anything you undertake as a Christian. To achieve excellence, you must; 1.       B

ISOLATION IS NEEDFUL

Mount Horeb where God spoke to Moses was an isolated place. Horeb is a place people hardly go to. We never read anywhere in the Bible that someone else saw the fire of the burning bush that day except Moses. This shows how unpopular and lonely this part of town is. It was quite isolated. At several other instances, God has spoken to men in isolated places. Why will God prefer to talk to His vessels in an isolated place? He could have talked to Moses at the village square, market, by the well or even on the street. But God did not. If you have ever been woken up in the night or early hours of the morning by your parents or spouse for a talk, then you will understand how important discussions held isolation can be in a relationship. Severally in the scripture, when God has serious issues to relate to His vessels, He did so either in isolated places or during quiet hours because serious matters are best discussed in noiseless environments or hours when distractions will be minimal.

GOD NEEDS YOUR ATTENTION

And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him. And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils – Mark 3:15 Does it not surprise you that the essence of the Burning Bush was just to get Moses’ attention? God has been watching Moses for about 40 years in Midian but never said anything to him. Even on the fateful day He decided to talk to Moses, God kept quiet and waited for Moses to show interest in the strange fire before He will talk. He did not talk until Moses gave attention to the burning bush. Who knows how many times in the past He had brought up situations in an attempt to get Moses’ attention and Moses failed to take notice it? God had to call Samuel three times before it was discerned that it was God that was calling. Is it not possible that God had beckoned on you severally in the past and you failed to give Him at

EVEN ON HOREB?

Put me in his shoes, there was something else that must have puzzled Moses as he stood before the burning bush that day. I can imagine him asking himself, “So God is present even on Horeb?” Hareb , one of the possible Hebrew words from which the word Horeb was derived means dryness, desolation, dry up, lay waste or to be in ruin. So Moses must have been surprised that God is present even in this place of desolation and dryness. He would have thought that due to the dryness of Horeb, God would not be there. How wrong he was. Over time and with other encounters he had with God on Mount Horeb (Exodus 3, Exodus 17:6), he could not but recognize the place as the Mount of God . What a conflict; God manifesting repeatedly in a place of desolation. If there is anywhere God should have been encountered it should not be on Horeb with all the dryness. After all, our God is a God of abundance. So He should be in places filled with abundance and wherever there is desolation, dryness,

TAKE OFF YOUR SANDALS

And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.   And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground - Exodus 3:4-5 Exodus Chapter 3 marked the beginning of Moses' walk with God. It marked the beginning of his ministry. While at the backside of the desert, on Mount Horeb grazing his father-in-law's flock, he stumbled on something very strange (for so it seemed to him). It was the kind of strange things that you hear about only in fairy tales. It was an awesome and frightening sight; the sight of a bush on fire but not being consumed. "No, definitely something must be wrong. How can this be? A non-destructive fire! The trees and grasses are still lush, green and standing; the flowers, bright and blossoming. This is against the natural ministry of fire which is to destroy everything on its

GOD KNOWS YOU

When God called his name, from within the fire, Moses must have been surprised that the person in the fire knows him by name without any previous formal or informal introduction. Imagine how surprised and lost you will be when someone you do not know walks up to you and calls you by name. That must have been how Moses felt that day. Do you realize that God knows you by name? He knows everything about you. He knows even the events that have not taken place in your life. He knows the name of all the people on earth. He cannot see John and call him Philip or see Eunice and call her Stephanie. No! He knows you better than that. He knows your situation and has the solution. He knows your exact address and so will not give your blessings to your twin or next door neighbour in error. If only you can understand God to this level, then you have no reason for not trusting Him. Like He called Moses from within the Burning Bush, He is calling out to many today from the pulpits, on the street

POWER OF THE WORD

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.   Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do - Heb 4:12-13 . A story is told of an old man who lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning, Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading from his old worn-out Bible. His grandson who wanted to be just like him tried to imitate him in any way he could. One day the grandson asked, “Papa, I try to read the Bible just like you but I don’t understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Bible do?” The grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and said, “take this coa

SOW TO YOURSELF

“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you” - Hosea 10:12.  “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase” - 1Cor. 3:6 . A fallow ground is a virgin uncultivated ground or one left to recover its nutrients depreciated from previous cultivations. It also represents the untapped potentials and resources in and around a person. Grounds are left fallow not necessarily because they are not fertile or cannot be put to some other uses but because of reasons which include; 1.    Availability of other fertile lands. This is when a person relegates a potential or ability to the background because he has other potentials he thinks have better prospects. For instance a person might neglect a singing potential because he can also play football. 2.    Ignorance of the presence of a potential. When a potential is not known to exist, it will sure be ignored. For ins

YOUR CHILDREN: A BLESSING

“Lo children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward” – Psalm 127:3 Here am I, and the children the LORD has given. We are for signs and symbols in Israel from the LORD Almighty, who dwells on Mount Zion – Isaiah 8:18 Child conception and birth is one of the greatest mysteries of life. A mystery that man has not fully understood. The Scripture above says, “children are an heritage of the LORD…” That means that it is God that gives children. It is not by human effort. This explains why some couples don’t have them even when medical experts have declared them fertile.   God who in His grace and mercies gave you those children places so much premium on them and that was why when the disciples tried to rebuke them from coming to Jesus, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” - Matthew 19:14. We see people today who don’t want little children to come near them maybe because she look

SECRETS OF GOOD SUCCESS

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.   This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success – Joshua 1:7-8 The above scripture is an express and direct statement to Joshua by God. A statement that reveals God’s ultimate and true secret for prosperity and good success. That secret is studying and doing what the Word of God says. It is obvious that not all the successes people get are good successes. When one succeeds by cheating, stealing or through any unlawful and ungodly scheme, he can’t be said to have good success. Good successes are successes that come by godly and

GLORIOUS GENERATION

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light - 1Peter. 2:9     It is written that because you and I have given our lives to Christ, we are a chosen generation … Chosen for what? We have been chosen to excel and display the glory of our heavenly Father here on earth. The scriptures has it that, “ Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm” – Daniel. 6:3. Just as the spirit of God qualified Daniel for excellence, the Holy Spirit in you also qualifies you to excel greatly. That is the only way God’s glory in your life can be seen by men It is God’s desire that believers should be gloriously exceptional in everything they do and that is why 3 John 2 has it that the desire of heaven is that “you prosper and be in health
